Applicators
It is very important that you are aware of the range of applicators that are available from us. The following information is designed to help decide which applicator will suit the type of installations you work on.
Granleda 12" Applicator
Description:
The applicator base is of sheet metal construction and is in the form of a "V" shape. The handle is wooden and is clamped into the frame by a bolt and wingnut (supplied).
This applicator can be used for coating all types of surfaces with the chosen product, and is ideal for use on very small areas. It is particularly useful on uneven surfaces, worn floorboards, slate tiles, etc
Granleda 20" Applicator
Description:
The applicator base is of sheet metal construction and is in the form of a semi-circular "U" shape. The handle is also wooden and is screwed into place.
These larger applicators offer the same advantages as the 12" size but have the added benefit of covering larger areas in a shorter time.
Granleda Applicator Trays
Description: The applicator trays are available in both 12" and 20" sizes. They are of galvanised metal construction and are fitted with a' bar' to enable excessive seal to be removed from the applicator pad, therefore minimising the risk of drip marks.
Padco Applicators 18" and 24"
Description:
These applicators differ in that they are of all metal construction. The 'head' is a solid bar onto which the sleeve slides over. Both sizes offer a quick, easy way of applying finish to a floor surface. The 24" Padco is particularly suitable for large areas, i.e. Sports Halls, Exhibition Halls, factories, etc.
An applicator tray is not required for use with Padco Applicators.
