The latest phase of the European Paints directive came into force on 1st January 2010.
This imposed stricter limits on the VOC contents of several classes of paints, varnishes and specialist finishes.
As a result of our past efforts to reduce VOC limits all of our water bourne finishes far exceeded the requirements of the 2007 regualtions and have not required any further formulation changes.
We have been working hard to ensure that our solvent based floor seals comply with the requirements of the directive with minimal effect on the products.
